Job Description The Steward will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and assisting customers within a busy event venue. Reporting directly to the Event Coordinator, the Steward ensures a sanitary and welcoming environment, occasionally performing physical tasks such as lifting. This position is ideal for individuals eager to start or continue their careers in hospitality or food service.ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize event spaces, including tables, floors, and restroomsAssist customers with inquiries and provide excellent serviceCoordinate with the Event Coordinator to ensure smooth venue operationsPerform occasional physical tasks, including lifting and moving suppliesMaintain stock levels of cleaning and hospitality suppliesSupport setup and breakdown of event areas as required Preferred QualificationsNeeds to be able to pass a background checkEntry-level experience in hospitality or food serviceThis job is for multiple events.Company DescriptionFounded in August of 2005 in Gulfport, MS in an effort to aid with the clean-up and reconstruction efforts along the US Gulf Coast after being hit by Hurricane Katrina.
