SummaryWe are currently seeking an Assistant Patient Care MGR Specialty for our 2 North ICU:The Assistant Patient Care Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of nursing operations,ensuring quality care for patients and their families. Mentors, serves as a resource, and providessupport for staff and faculty on clinical nursing issues while meeting the department, nursing, andorganization goals. Oversees clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.Training/Experience Minimum three (3) years nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting Demonstrated leadership experience preferred Oncology experience preferredEducation: Education:Required: Graduate of state accredited nursing program. B.S.N. OR anAssociates Degree with B.S.N. in process to be completed within two (2) years of initial enrollment date.Preferred: Masters in NursingLicensure/Certification Current Florida RN license ACLS designation required for BMT, SCU, and Telemetry inpatient units Certification in area of specialty, required. Current provider designation in BCLSAdditional SkillsStrong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsAdvanced nursing skills; IV therapy, intervention with emergencies, teaching skills. Demonstratedcompetency in in-patient and out-patient best practices including patient care, technology, andprocesses
