Warehouse Worker

Warehouse and Crane OperatorWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse and Crane Operator. This role is integral to our operations, involving the use of machinery and ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met.Responsibilities:Operate machines, equipment, cranes, or forklifts in a quality and safety-driven environment.Utilize math and measuring skills for precise operations.Use hand tools and measurement tools effectively.Stand on feet for up to 12 hours per day and perform heavy lifting.Load, unload, and sort items using scan guns.Inspect for defects and ensure quality on the production line.Receive and ship materials efficiently.Essential Skills:Experience in warehouse operations with forklift or crane operation experience preferred.Ability to stand on feet for extended periods and lift at least 50 pounds.Proficiency in basic math and reasoning skills, including measurement skills.Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency and a positive attitude.Experience with hand tools and measurement tools.Ability to work any shift, any hour of the day, and any day of the week.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Demonstrated commitment and dedication in previous roles.Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Why Work Here?Joining our team offers you the opportunity to gain numerous skills in a supportive environment where many team members and management have been with the company for over five years. Engage in the uncoiling and stamping of steel blanks, contributing to high-quality production for major suppliers.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
