The present company was formed in 1959 when the Magnethermic Corporation acquired the assets of Ajax Electrothermic Corp. combining their expertise and capabilities.Position Summary:The International Logistics Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all domestic and international shipments for Ajax Tocco Magnethermic. This role ensures on-time delivery of customer equipment, compliance with all shipping regulations, and efficient coordination between production, purchasing, and external carriers.This position plays a critical role in supporting project timelines, minimizing delays, and maintaining strong communication across departments and with customers.Job Duties:- Coordinate domestic and international shipments (LTL, FTL, air freight, ocean freight, breakbulk)- Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers, freight forwarders, and brokers- Prepare and verify shipment documentation such as Bills of Lading, Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, and Certificates of Origin.- Ensure all shipments are aligned with project schedules and required ship dates- Manage export documentation and compliance requirements such as HTS Classification, AES Filings, Incoterms, Customs Documentation-Work with customs brokers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth international shipments- Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and customer-specific requirements (CE, EMC, etc.)- Track international shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues- Work and collaborate closely with Production, Purchasing, and Project Managers for status updates and customer priorities.- Participate in production and shipment planning meetings- Maintain clear communication on shipment status and risks- Monitor freight costs and identify opportunities for cost savings- Identify and resolve shipping issues, delays, or damages- Drive continuous improvement in the department and implementation of standard operating proceduresWhat you need to be successful:- Associates degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related- 3+ years of experience in logistics/shipping in a manufacturing or OEM environment- Ability to read blueprints and understand electronic controls and circuits.- Experience with ERP systems and shipping softwarePreferred Qualifications:- Experience in OEM manufacturing*Other duties as assigned. *Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
