As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing machining programs, while determining effective programming and manufacturing methods for precision components. You will collaborate with engineering teams to align programming solutions with customer specifications and performance requirements.In this role, you will act as the link between technical engineering drawings and finished machined parts, creating high-precision CNC programs for a variety of turning equipment, including Swiss, VTL/VTM, and horizontal lathes. Your work will ensure components are produced accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with strict quality standards.You should be a detail-driven technical professional who enjoys solving complex machining challenges, interpreting geometric requirements, and transforming raw materials into precision-engineered parts.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, create, and optimize CNC programs for lathes using CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam and SolidWorksSelect appropriate tooling, cutting parameters, and workholding methods to improve efficiency and tool lifeInterpret complex engineering drawings, 3D models, and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate part productionCollaborate with machinists and setup personnel to validate programs and resolve machining issues on the shop floorTroubleshoot and refine G-code/M-code programs to improve quality and reduce cycle timesIdentify and support continuous improvement initiatives related to machining processes and productivity
