SALES REPRESENTATIVE:PITCO Foods is a large independent foodservice distributor in Northern California. Based in San Jose, CA, PITCO also has distribution centers in Brisbane, Oakland, and Sacramento.Description:The Sales Representative focuses on how to maximize Sales Territory in revenue opportunities and sustainable market share growth, by engaging all customers segments, tracking industry trends, identifying new business opportunities, anticipating market direction, and aligning our strategies to market conditions and consumers.We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.Position Profile Requirements: Customer service skills to listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needsInterpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and networkConfidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling customers and making a saleCommunication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customersPhysical endurance, as Sales Representatives may need to be on their feet for long hours, spend a lot of time traveling between locations and carry heavy productsJob Duties:Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customersPerform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needsEstablish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationshipsReach out to customer leads through in-person store visits and follow up callsExpedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfactionAchieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within scheduleCoordinate sales effort with team members and other departmentsAnalyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reportsSupply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trendsContinuously improve through feedbackEducation, Knowledge & ExperienceRequirements for the position include:Proven work experience as a sales representativeExcellent knowledge of MS OfficeFamiliarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationshipsHighly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in salesExcellent selling, communication and negotiation skillsPrioritizing, time management and organizational skillsAbility to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needsRelationship management skills and openness to feedbackSalary: Exempt-Level NegotiablePitco Foods is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
