Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
Job Purpose This position will troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair malfunctioning electrical and hydraulic equipment used in the manufacturing process to keep everything in a production status.Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical components.Complete assigned procedures on mold machines, robots, programmable logic controller, air compressors and other electrical and mechanical equipment in the facilityRead blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods of repair, using a variety of testing instrumentsAlign, fit, or assemble component parts using hand or power toolsAbility to troubleshoot PLCsObserve and practice all safety regulationsQualificationsHigh School DiplomaAssociates Degree or equivalent from a 2 year college a plusTechnical school/Training or equivalent on the job certificationsPlastic Injection Molding experience a plusWorking conditionsTypical manufacturing environmentPhysical RequirementsStandingReachingBending/stooping/kneelingAbility to lift up to 20 pounds, occasionally maneuver up to 100 poundsMathematical and reasoning abilities
