Under the direction of the construction manager, our field surveyor/designers are responsible for responding to design/documentation demands and meeting response time and output goals. The measurements will be written/drawn onto field maps and photos taken of the site plans. The notes/measurements and photos taken will be used by our Engineers to design the placement of new telecom equipment along copper and fiber cable where specified by the customer and used for the submittal of permits to the appropriate governing entity.What You Will DoMeet with property contact on-site to gather detailed site notes and photographs for each locationPerform Pre-sale and Post-sale site survey scope of work packetsDevelop base mapping and provide field engineering services Estimate creation to be used for presale contracts bidsAdhere to administrative guidance on project executionIdentify and course correct project issues and risks, participate in response plans to resolveUnderstand current and future business goals and ongoing issuesWhat You’ll NeedMust be at least 18 years oldHave a high school diploma or equivalentHave good interpersonal skillsMust have a valid driver's licenseMust have advanced training in the fieldMust have experience in Telecommunications/MDU/Commercial EngineeringHave solid experience with the principles and practices of fiber specific projects, network deployments and related fieldsMust be authorized to work in the United StatesHave experience working in all weather conditionsWhy grow your career with usYour career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
