In order to be considered for this role, after clicking "Apply Now" above and being redirected, you must fully complete the application process on the follow-up screen.About the Position The Coordinator, Experiential Events is responsible for leading all aspects of event production, from conceptualization through execution, ensuring each event meets and exceeds our organizations high standards. You will develop and execute event logistics for Golden State Warriors, Golden State Valkyries and other brand events at Chase Center, Thrive City and other offsite locations. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand's visibility and reputation by orchestrating exceptional events that engage and delight. This position will report to the Manager, Experiential Events. This is a full-time position based in San Francisco, CA. Key ResponsibilitiesServe as primary contact for all internal and external clients on all assigned events and provide guidance from initial concept to final executionLead site visits and event planning meetings with internal and external clients for eventsAttend event planning meetings and walkthroughs to ensure all departments receive pertinent information to appropriately prepare for upcoming eventsCreate event layouts using AutoCAD and oversee the production environment, ensuring every element aligns with the client's objectives and our brand standardsDevelop and maintain creative briefs, project timelines, and event budgets to ensure maximum efficiency in expenditure while delivering top tier resultsResearch and secure off-site venues including negotiating quotes and agreements with vendorsEnsure proper permits are secured for events, and maintain a close working relationship with San Francisco Fire Department and Buildings DepartmentOversee onsite events team and lead all setup and breakdown of event equipmentPrepare, and distribute all pre and post event notes to appropriate departments and vendors to ensure overall understanding and staffing coverageOther tasks and responsibilities as assigned Required Experience and SkillsBachelor's Degree and 1-2 years experience in event and project management and executing large and high-profile events required; hospitality industry and union experience a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD preferredAbility to coach, mentor, and motivate a diverse workforce and be comfortable communicating with all levels internally and externallyAbility to create and proactively find solutions to issues and challenging situations in a fast-paced environmentExperience building positive working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels within the organizationFlexible work schedule and work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends and holidays throughout the year Compensation$26.00 - $27.00 per hour + bonusComprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision benefits for employees and dependentsEmployer 401K matchVacation, Summer Half-Day Fridays and a generous paid time off plan for pregnancy and parental leavesWarriors home tickets, team store discount and more!
