Based in the US, you will bring essential grounding in US employment practices while supporting people processes around the world, including gaining exposure to UK and EMEA frameworks as you grow.This is a great opportunity for someone early in their People career who wants broad global exposure, enjoys variety, and is eager to learn how employee relations (ER) and lifecycle processes operate across multiple regions. You'll be central to the smooth running of our global processes, driving coordination, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to thoughtful, values-aligned interactions at each stage.What you will doYou'll support the delivery of key People programs by coordinating global employee lifecycle processes, guiding day-to-day offboarding, and contributing to performance, development, and engagement initiatives. You'll work closely with the People Director, Success & Relations on employee relations matters, organising case activity, capturing documentation, and handling straightforward situations. You'll maintain accurate data and process materials, help prepare and schedule learning and feedback cycles, and collaborate with regional partners to ensure alignment across countries and time zones.Global Employee Lifecycle SupportCoordinate key lifecycle processes across all regions, ensuring clarity, precision, and a smooth employee experience from onboarding touchpoints to global offboardingLead the tracking and coordination of introductory periods and 6-week syncs, ensuring timely prompts to managers, accurate documentation, and consistent follow-up on themes and actionsManage day-to-day global offboarding, including communications, system updates, documentation, and manager support, escalating complex cases to the People DirectorMaintain employee lifecycle templates, resources, and standards; keeping them up to date, compliant, and aligned to regional requirementsSupport lifecycle requests such as basic flexible working applications, long-service tracking, and our company recognition programmeEmployee Relations (ER)Partner with the People Director on ER matters by preparing case materials, coordinating meetings, capturing documentation, and managing follow-through across regionsWith guidance, handle straightforward matters, helping managers navigate outcomes that balance employee needs, risk, and business prioritiesSupport the parental leave process, coordinating meetings, risk assessments, documentation, and manager communicationSupport managers in navigating workplace conflict, providing guidance on early intervention, appropriate next steps, and documentation, while escalating complex or sensitive matters to the Director, People Success & Relations as neededFoundational Knowledge Apply foundational US employment knowledge on terminations, performance processes, leave types and compliance basics to support day-to-day Success & Relations mattersSupport the People Director by providing context, resources, and guidance for common US scenarios, whilst building up your own knowledge in tandemSupport People processes across the UK, EMEA, and other regions, gaining exposure to varied employment practicesDevelop a growing understanding of EMEA frameworks through hands-on experience, curiosity, and partnership with regional collaboratorsMaintain accuracy and alignment across global People processes and documentation as your knowledge growsPerformance, Development & Wellbeing Support global performance and feedback cycles through communication, scheduling, system updates, and trackingHelp deliver leadership development and training programs—coordinating preparation, logistics, and follow-up actionsMaintain learning resources and wellbeing initiatives, including managing the wellbeing calendar and distributing resources and campaigns through our mental health platform, UnmindCulture, Engagement & Global Projects Contribute to global engagement initiatives, supporting surveys, culture activities, and employee engagement efforts across regionsAnalyse lifecycle data—including PTO, sickness, turnover, and engagement inputs—and share meaningful insights with the People DirectorCollaborate across the global People team to ensure coordinated, thoughtful, and values-led interactions for employees in every regionRequirementsWho you areAn emerging People generalist ready to broaden your experience across the employee lifecycle and build foundational ER skillsBased in the US with grounding in US employment law, knowledge of the employee lifecycle and curiosity to learn global People practices.
