Water Resources Engineer

We are working with a growing environmental consulting firm focused on delivering resilient and sustainable water infrastructure solutions for municipal and regional clients. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint Water Resources Engineers to support a range of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing team with strong progression potential toward leadership and ownership.Role OverviewYou will contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of water infrastructure projects, with opportunities to focus on either design engineering or hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modelling. The role offers exposure to a wide range of projects, from treatment systems to flood mitigation and resilient infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport or lead the design of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure including pipelines, treatment systems, and pumping stationsProvide engineering support during construction, including RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and site coordinationDevelop and apply hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) models for drainage, flood mitigation, and system performance analysisContribute to the development of resilient design solutions, incorporating green and grey infrastructure approachesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects to tight deadlinesCandidate RequirementsB.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or related discipline)5-10 years of relevant experienceFor Design Track: Experience in water/wastewater infrastructure design; EIT required, PE preferred or in progressFor H&H Track: Experience using modelling tools such as InfoWorks ICM, EPA SWMM, or similarStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentIf you're a water engineer looking to accelerate your career in a growing, technically driven environment, get in touch for a confidential discussion.
