Senior Full Stack DeveloperWe are looking for a senior full stack software developer who will develop, maintain, and support a multi-tier, high-performance application that processes massive amounts of genomic data:Provide and promote software engineering coding best practices and standardsWork closely with the application's architect to migrate various subsystems from legacy on-prem to AWSInstrument and analyze performance metrics to ensure existing QoS contracts are maintained and improvedImplement new features going forward as well as update client-side APIs (both GUI and command-line based) to support themEducation and experience:BS/MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related discipline7+ years of experience in C#/.NET high-performance application developmentCompetencies:Knowledge of AWS or Kubernetes based clustering software development/runtime environmentsKnowledge of Visual Studio or similar C# IDE frameworkKnowledge of how REST-based APIs workExperience in developing and debugging highly-scaled enterprise applications or similar HPCExperience in Hadoop or equivalent Map/Reduce frameworks such as AWS EMR, Spark, etc. Is a big plusExperience in handling genomic data or equivalentKnowledge of CI/CD principles and toolsCompetency in some scripting language such as Powershell or bash
