Mobile Phlebotomist / Contract Examiner - Outer Banks, NC
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team. We are looking for candidates for coverage area from Fayetteville to Outer Banks and from Durham to Wilmington. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting medical history information, obtaining vitals (height, weight, BP and pulse) as well as performing blood draws and specimen collection, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and excellent patient care skills, as well as the ability to work independently in diverse environments.
Responsibilities
Perform phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples from patients.
Utilize laboratory experience to handle and process specimens accurately.
Ensure compliance with protocols and standards for specimen collection and processing.
Demonstrate proficiency in venipuncture and blood sampling techniques.
Provide patient care with a focus on comfort and safety.
Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of physiology to complete medical health questionnaires.
Maintain accurate records of patient information and specimen data.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient service.
Maintain organized records and documentation related to phlebotomy procedures.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling between locations.
We pay per case, so the earning potential is unlimited!
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year or 1000 hours of phlebotomy experience
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and car insurance

****As a contractor, you will be responsible for the purchase of required equipment in order to perform this job such as mobile phone, scanner, computer with internet, centrifuge, manual BP cuff, scale, tape measure, stethoscope, and tablet with mobile internet. We provide kits for the blood draw, urine collection, or whatever other labs may be required.

- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Bi-lingual speakers are a plus!
- EKG Machine (Optional - Can be purchased through us after you have started working, through payroll deduction)
