Overview Can speak English/Punjabi/Hindi We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong understanding of various truck types, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailer units for the delivery of freight to various locations. Drive manual transmission vehicles as required. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport. Utilize forklifts or other equipment as necessary for loading and unloading tasks. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A is required. Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driver experience. Familiarity with operating various types of trucks including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Experience with freight handling and load/unload procedures. Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A commitment to maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to company policies.
