This role is critical to producing tight-tolerance, high-complexity components in a clean, high-tech environment. - The Work You'll Be Doing In this role, you will: Set up and operate CNC mill-turn machines and lathes to produce precision parts Read blueprints, part drawings, and follow work instructions Run jobs with complex geometries using medical-grade materials Adjust offsets and tooling for optimal results Support engineering with fixture/process improvement feedback Complete documentation, quality checks, and first article inspections Collaborate with team leads, QC, and programmers Contribute to continuous improvement and 5S initiatives - Machines, Controls & Software Machines : Doosan SMX, Doosan Lynx, Willemin-Macodel, EDM Controls : Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain (training available) Inspection Tools : Calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators - Materials You'll Work With Titanium Stainless Steel Cobalt Chrome Inconel Plastics - What We're Looking For Required 5+ years of CNC machining experience Strong setup experience with multi-axis or mill-turn equipment Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T Skilled in tooling, offsets, and in-process inspection Comfortable with high-mix, tight-tolerance parts Team-first mindset and safety-focused Preferred Mill-turn or simultaneous 5-axis experience Experience in medical or aerospace industries CAM programming familiarity (Mastercam or similar) - Why Machinists Like Working Here Clean, climate-controlled CNC shop 2 miles from the ocean Wide range of machines = constant cross-training xtnlbfm Strong team culture + supportive managers Benefits start on Day 1 Opportunity to grow into leadership or programming roles - Pay, Benefits & Schedule Pay : $25 – $35/hr (based on experience) Shift Differential : 20% for 2nd shift Benefits Medical, dental, vision (Day 1) 401(k) with 4% company match 3 weeks PTO, 9 holidays, 2 floating holidays Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus (case-by-case) HSA options, tuition reimbursement Schedule Options 1st Shift: Mon–Thurs (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) 2nd Shift: Mon–Thurs or Tues–Fri (4:14 PM – 2:45 AM) Weekend AM Shift: Fri–Sun (3x12s) - Apply Now If you're a CNC Mill Turn expert looking for your next great opportunity, apply now to explore careers with Tecomet in West Palm Beach.
