Come be a part of something bigger -- where your skills, compassion, and drive can help build a stronger, more vibrant community for all.Join us today and be a force for good!Position OverviewAs our Resource Development Coordinator (Highlands County), you'll support the annual campaign and year-round donor engagement through detail-oriented administrative support, data/CRM work, and warm, service-minded support for donors, volunteers, and partners.Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative & Meeting SupportManage calendars, schedule appointments, coordinate logistics, draft agendas, prepare materials, and transcribe minutes (including Advisory Board).Track action items and follow up to completion.Draft, proof, and format correspondence, proposals, thank-you and birthday cards, and other stewardship pieces.Donor & Campaign OperationsSupport year-round campaign tasks including prospect list preparation, pledge processing, donor acknowledgments, and stewardship outreach.Coordinate presentations and site visits including scheduling, preparation of materials, slide decks, and printed packets.Assist in creating donor communications and campaign materials using tools such as Canva and PowerPoint.Serve as the friendly first point of contact for Highlands County donor inquiries.Data, CRM & ReportingMaintain accurate donor, account, and pledge records in Andar, including creating new donor profiles, updating donor information, and maintaining data integrity.Pull reports from Andar, generate donor lists, and prepare spreadsheets and mailing lists to support fundraising campaigns and stewardship activities.Run standard and ad-hoc reports to support campaign tracking, donor engagement, and leadership reporting.Export data and build lists using Excel (filters, pivot tables, v-lookups) to support campaign outreach and reporting.Uphold strong standards of data accuracy, confidentiality, and donor record management.Events & Affinity GroupsPlan and execute meetings and events (invites/RSVPs, venue/A/V, catering, run of show, check-in, signage, supplies).Provide hands-on support for signature fundraising events (e.g., sponsorship & auction item tracking, on-site logistics).Coordinate Women United programming (meetings, communications, calendars, stewardship).Volunteer & Community EngagementSupport volunteer coordination for campaign/events; ensure clear instructions, materials, and appreciation.LogisticsPerform occasional local courier tasks (pick up/deliver envelopes, forms, sponsorships, or auction items).OtherUphold confidentiality, data security, and brand standards.Evening/early morning/weekend work may be required during peak seasons.Qualifications & SkillsEducation/Experience: Associate's degree (AA) or 3+ years relevant nonprofit or fundraising operations/administrative experience (or a comparable mix).CRM: Comfort with a fundraising CRM (Andar strongly preferred).Public Speaking: Comfortable and confident speaking to groups (volunteers, donors, committees, or community gatherings).Microsoft Office: Advanced Excel plus proficiency in Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, as well as Canva.Communication: Clear, professional writing and confident, service-oriented verbal skills.Organization: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy and discretion.Judgment & Confidentiality: Sound judgment handling sensitive information.Transportation: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally in Highlands County.PreferredExperience supporting a development director or major gifts/corporate/campaign program.Event coordination (run of show, vendor coordination, volunteer management).Affinity group and committee/board administration experience.Familiarity with pledge processing, sponsorship tracking, and basic fundraising KPIs.Core CompetenciesDonor Service Mindset • Data Accuracy & Insight • Project Management • Collaboration • AdaptabilityPay & BenefitsStarting hourly salary range is $19 - $21, based on experience and qualifications.
