That's where we start!Volt is immediately hiring for Assemblers in Austin, TXOur Client is looking for experienced Assembler to add to the team in support of manufacturing, assembly, and parts inventory management on several new products ramping into production this year.As a Production Operator, you will:Assemble components accurately according to specifications, blueprints, or work ordersUtilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery to perform assembly tasks efficientlyInspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specificationsComplete component quality testing and associated data collection worksheetsFollow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environmentCollaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlinesMaintain cleanliness and organization of all work areasThis is a full time opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:High school diploma or equivalent3-5 yrs experience in manufacturing, assembly, parts inventory, warehouse or a related areasMechanical or simple machine repair abilities and/or aptitude is a plusProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawingsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in workmanshipAbility to effectively and safely use hand and power toolsExcellent verbal communication and teamwork skillsWilling to learn and adapt to new assembly techniques and processesStartup experience is a plusPay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
