This role involves managing financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting audits while partnering with leadership to provide strategic financial insights. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.ResponsibilitiesManage accounting operations for multiple financial services entities, including title, mortgage, and insurance companiesPrepare and maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements in accordance with GAAPPerform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processesMonitor cash activity, banking transactions, and account reconciliationsAnalyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and resolve accounting issues in a timely mannerAssist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and financial reporting requestsPartner with leadership and operational teams to provide financial support and accounting guidanceMaintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company accounting policies and proceduresSupport process improvements and assist with special projects as neededWork closely with the Regional President and accounting leadership team on various financial initiativesRequired Experience/SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field4+ years of accounting experience, preferably within financial services, banking, mortgage, title, or insurance industriesStrong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and account reconciliationsExperience managing multiple entities and high-volume accounting activityStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionallyStable work history with the desire to grow long term within an organizationProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systemsPreferred Experience/SkillsBanking or financial services industry experience strongly preferredPrevious experience in a Senior Accountant, Project Accountant, or similar senior-level accounting role preferredEducation RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requiredCPA certification or progress toward CPA preferredContinuing education in accounting standards and financial regulations is a plusAdvanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/accounting software preferredBenefitsIf eligible under the ACA, medical, dental and vision benefits and time off in accordance with local paid sick time laws will be offered.
