The selected candidate will focus on SysML modeling, requirements management, and system documentation using industry-standard MBSE tools. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining system architectures, coordinating interdisciplinary engineering efforts, managing requirements, risks, interfaces, and configurations, and ensuring cohesive technical execution across multiple teams.The Strategic & Military Space Division delivers advanced satellite and sensor systems that support the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Become part of a team dedicated to making a tangible contribution to our nation’s defense capabilities.This position is in North Logan, UT.ResponsibilitiesDevelops and maintains system models using SysML in Cameo Systems ModelerSupports requirements management activities, including importing, organizing, and refining technical requirementsCreates and maintains system architecture artifacts, including block definition, internal block, activity, sequence, state, and parametric diagramsGenerates model-based documentation to support system design reviews and program milestonesSupports proposal and program documentation through model-derived productsParticipates in MBSE toolchain evaluation and continuous process improvement activitiesCollaborates with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support system integrationRequired QualificationsMust be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security clearance (DoW security clearance)Bachelor’s degree (must be complete or completed within 6 months of the posting date) in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, computer engineering, or a closely related disciplineMust have no more than 5 years of relevant experienceFamiliarity with systems requirements development and managementAbility to produce clear technical documentationStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience using Cameo Systems Modeler or comparable MBSE toolsPractical experience developing and maintaining production-level SysML modelsExperience supporting government or defense-related engineering programsFamiliarity with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Visure, or JAMAExperience supporting proposal or RFP development activitiesExposure to system integration activities involving mechanical, electrical, and/or software subsystemsExperience evaluating or implementing MBSE workflows and toolchainsProgramming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, MATLAB)Familiarity with Linux-based or version-controlled development environmentsSalary Range$71,000 - $101,000Salary commensurate on education and relevant experienceThis range serves as a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as role, level, location, market conditions, and individual qualifications, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
