Operations Manager

Emerald Textiles Commerce is currently looking for an Operations Manager who will help build a number '1' team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages activities of production workers in assigned area. Responsible for ensuring assigned working area is kept clean and well-maintained. Instructs and trains new production employees. Ensures all assigned employees adhere to prescribed methods, techniques and procedures to avoid spread of infection. Observes workers in assigned area in performance of duties and demonstrates techniques to improve production, workflow and safety. Communicates employee relations, safety, and other production issues to General Manager. Observes assigned production areas for general quality discrepancies. Inspects articles in assigned area and rotates those not meeting quality assurance standards for rework. As necessary, performs any of the operations supervised in order to maintain production schedule. Complete all necessary reports for the production areas. Performs other tasks and special duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED: High School Diploma 5+ years related laundry production experience or in a similar environment 5+years experience supervising laundry production staff or in a similar environment Excellent record keeping, attention to detail and communication skills Strong written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to work well with superiors, co-workers and subordinates Self-motivated Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred Join our team for an exciting and rewarding career!
