We're entering an exciting new chapter with plans to *expand our food business, operating hours, weekend brunch, sporting events, entertainment, and special events.* If you're outgoing, enjoy meeting people, and want the opportunity to make great tips while working in a lively neighborhood pub, we'd like to meet you. What You'll Do * Greet guests quickly and provide friendly, attentive service * Take accurate food and drink orders * Learn the food, cocktail, beer, and drink menus * Make menu recommendations and upsell when appropriate * Enter orders accurately into the POS system * Check IDs and follow responsible alcohol-service procedures * Deliver food and beverages promptly * Check on guests throughout their visit * Pre-bus and maintain clean, organized tables * Run food and help teammates during busy periods * Communicate with bartenders and kitchen staff * Handle payments and guest checks accurately * Complete opening, closing, and assigned side work * Maintain clean server stations and guest areas * Follow uniform, attendance, and service standards * Help create a fun and welcoming atmosphere * Work as a team during high-volume shifts, sporting events, brunch, and entertainment nights What We're Looking For * Previous serving experience preferred * Sports bar, pub, restaurant, or high-volume experience is a plus * Friendly and outgoing personality * Strong communication and customer-service skills * Ability to multitask and stay organized * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment * Dependable and punctual * Team-oriented attitude * Ability to work nights and weekends * Friday and Saturday availability strongly preferred * Brunch/daytime availability is a plus Certifications * *BASSET certification required or ability to obtain* * *Illinois Food Handler certification required or ability to obtain* What We're Looking for in Our Servers We're looking for more than someone who simply takes orders.
