AWS Solutions Architect (SysOps) *****This role is NOT open to third party recruiters. *******TekStream Solutions is seeking an Architect / Developer with a background in AWS and Cloud Development to join a growing Engineering Services team responsible for guiding multiple TekStream clients in their AWS implementations. This is a direct hire, W-2, full-time role. The Selected Architect will take part in the buildout of multiple internal offerings as well as lead client delivery efforts including developing proposed solutions and designing appropriate road maps. Please check us and apply to set up a conversation Requirements:10yrs+ systems engineer experience with at least 5 years+ of AWS experienceExpertise with implementation of commercial-scale cloud systems leveraging IaaS, PaaS or SaaS infrastructure in AWSExperience with configuring AWS for Disaster Recovery services from on-premise applicationsHands on experience with CloudEndure / AWS App Migration Service (MGN) or similar DR toolsetsExperience in Server Migrations and workloads to AWSExperience in Architecting AWS networks and applications for multi-account cloud configurationsExperience in configuring AWS Control Tower and migrating existing AWS account structures to AWS Control TowerExperience in Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform, Cloud Formation, and AnsibleExperience in Container deployments with hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes Clusters is a plusExperience with CloudWatch/CloudTrail and creating monitoring services for Cloud environments including serverless architecture. Or experience with 3rd party tools like Datadog/Wiz/Grafana (prometheus, influx, loki, tempo, mimir, alloy)Experience with AWS EC2 and VPC configurationsExperience with IP networking, VPNs, DNS, ALB/NLB, and firewalling concepts, with a specific focus on AWS networkingExperience with advanced networking concepts: distributed vs centralized network topologiesExperience with AWS Transit Gateways, Gateway Load Balancers, and CloudFront technologies Experience with SSL Certification management, from front end termination, full chain SSL, and mTLS Experience in AWS Lambda, SNS, SQS, and Event BridgeSome background in some coding language is a plus: python, java, c# Experience with leading functional requirements sessions, creating detailed technical specifications, and building test cases for new or modified projectsMust be self-starter and demonstrate experience in running delivery project teamsMust be comfortable leading client discussions and proposing project / technical directionMust have experience in estimating level of effort for AWS engagements
