This contract position requires adaptability, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.Schedule:1745-0615 shiftEvery third weekend requiredRotating holidays (EOH)May occasionally provide coverage for the Medical/Surgical unit as neededQualifications:Active RN license with current accreditationPrior experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting strongly preferredConfident assessment and triage skills, capable of quick, effective decision-makingBLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC are a plus)Strong communication skills and the ability to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary teamFlexibility to cover Medical/Surgical floors if requiredKey Responsibilities:Provide patient-centered care in the ER, monitoring and rapidly responding to acute medical situationsPerform patient assessments, initiate treatment, and document interventionsAdminister medications, treatments, and operate critical care equipmentCommunicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team membersEnsure accurate, timely charting and adherence to clinical protocolsMaintain a safe environment and adhere to all organizational standards
