Category Manager - Healthcare Supply Chain
Role OverviewThe Category Manager supports healthcare supply chain contracting by managing the full contract lifecycle-from review and negotiation through execution and maintenance. This role partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and support sourcing and supplier initiatives.Role ResponsibilitiesManage the full contract lifecycle for healthcare supply chain categories, including drafting, reviewing, redlining, execution, and maintenanceCoordinate contract review and approval with key internal partners (Legal, Finance, IT, Privacy, etc.)Ensure contracting activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policiesTrack and manage contracts and documentation within sourcing/procurement systemsBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholdersSupport sourcing initiatives, value analysis, and supplier engagement activitiesProactively manage priorities, provide updates, and respond to stakeholder requestsProvide backup support to other Category Managers and support departmental initiatives as neededQualifications3+ years of progressive experience in a healthcare environment leading negotiations, solicitations, pricing agreements, and/or bid proposalsHands‑on experience preparing, redlining, and managing regulated contracts end‑to‑endStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independentlyProven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholdersHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detailBachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience with sourcing or contracting systems (Workday preferred); paralegal certification a plusHours: 8:00am-5:00pmLocation: Fully Remote but must sit in Virginia Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.California residents: Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.If you would like to complete our voluntary self-identification form, please click here or copy and paste the following link into an open window in your browser: https://jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com/eeoc/Completion of this form is voluntary and will not affect your opportunity for employment, or the terms or conditions of your employment.
