This Human Resources Manager position is not a ground-up build, but rather an opportunity to optimize, enhance, and scale existing HR processes and systems.Leading full-cycle recruiting efforts and transitioning hiring ownership from administrative staffDesigning and implementing scalable talent acquisition and internship programsDeveloping career pathing frameworks and supporting employee growth initiativesEvaluating and enhancing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training programsRedesigning and modernizing performance review processes to align with company values and business outcomesBuilding and executing retention strategies to address engagement, career progression, and competitive market pressuresOverseeing HR operations including policies, compliance, employee relations, and documentationManaging benefits administration, vendor relationships, and open enrollment processesSupporting payroll and HR systems coordination and process improvementsPartnering with external counsel on immigration processes (H-1B, green card support)Tracking and analyzing HR metrics including retention, turnover, and engagementPromoting a culture aligned with integrity, respect, and humilityHuman Resources Manager Background Profile:5–10+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or HR management capacityBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws, and best practicesExperience owning multiple HR functions (recruiting, employee relations, performance management, etc.)Proven ability to build, refine, or scale HR processes in a growing organizationExperience with HRIS systems, payroll, and benefits administrationStrong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skillsHigh level of discretion and professionalismPreferred:Experience in engineering, construction, or technical/professional services environmentsExposure to LMS implementation, career pathing, or performance management redesignFamiliarity with immigration coordination processesFeatures and Benefits:401(k) with employer safe-harbor contributionsComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverageMonday–Thursday: 9-hour daysFriday: Half-dayCollaborative, "family-feel" culture with strong leadership accessHigh-impact role with visibility to executive leadershipOpportunity to shape and scale HR during a period of rapid growthSupport for professional development and career advancement
