This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. This is a manufacturing facility where you will be walking, lifting, and bending all day in a very warm warehouse environment. You will be assisting another team, and the more applicable experience you have, the more responsibilities you can be given.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.Attend daily production meetings.Respond to daily work orders.Work through PM schedule including HVAC, dock doors/plates, fire extinguisher maintenance, eye wash maintenance, bathroom maintenance, painting/patching, and general maintenance.Required Experience2–3 years of industrial maintenance experienceRequired SkillsIndustrial maintenance experienceBasic electrical experienceGood customer skillsGood organizational skillsExcellent time managementBasic computer skillsEmail proficiencyCMMS experienceAbility to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of workCommunication skills to exchange straightforward informationWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindsetPreferred SkillsCommercial HVAC experienceForklift or aerial lift certificationHVAC certificationEducation RequirementsHigh School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experienceIn lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be consideredWork Environment / Physical RequirementsWalking, lifting, and bending all dayWarehouse is very warm insideMust meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or moreLicenses/CertificationsNone required, but forklift/aerial lift certification a plusHVAC certification a plusBenefitsMedical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans401k Retirement FundInterview Process1st round: Virtual with H.M.2nd round: Virtual or on-site with Facility managerAbout the ClientLeading global commercial real estate services and investments.
