Position Title: 1.0 FTE Speech Language Pathologist (2026-2027)FLSA: ExemptReports to: Building Principal, Evaluation Team Supervisor and Director of Special EducationTerms of Employment: 184 day work year. Benefits and salary in accordance with the LEA Unit A collective bargaining agreement.Full-year replacement to cover a leave of absence for the 2026-2027 school year.August 31, 2026 start date. FY26 salary scale may change based on completed negotiations.Unit A 25-26 Salary RangeResponsibilities:Supports Instructional programming by providing speech/language therapy to students as required.Schedules students into appropriate instructional groupsProvide therapeutic services in both the general education and Speech office to students with a wide variety of speech and language disorders and student needsPerforms diagnostic evaluations and implements treatment plans in relation to student needsConsults and collaborates with classroom teachers and other school staff members to implement effective therapyServes as a consultant to school staff members in the development of servicesParticipates in Team and parent meetingsResponsible for goal writing and occasionally serving as liaison for IEPsKeep thorough records of the individual student receiving servicesAssists with mobility, transitioning and personal care as neededOther duties as assignedKnowledge of AAC preferredJob Qualifications:Master's degree in Communication Disorders, Speech and Language Pathology or a related fieldDESE licensed as Speech Language PathologistHolds Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or has completed requirements and application with ASHA is pendinWe cannot support Clinical Fellowships at this timePHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
