Welder Fabricator / Mechanic Assistant
We’re looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator / Mechanical Helper who’s comfortable moving between fabrication and mechanical work on fleet vehicles, heavy vehicles, and construction equipment, and who takes pride in producing high-quality work. Fabrication hours may vary, so this role suits someone practical and versatile who’s happy to fill in the rest of the week supporting mechanical projects.
Fabrication work could include:
Truck bed swaps
Trailer repair and inspection for cracks and broken welds
Axle replacement or relocation
Any and all things to do with welding and fabrication
Mechanical work would include but not be limited to:
Trailer plug repair
Trailer brakes
Small tool repair (Ex: jumping jacks, plate compactors, etc.)
Oil changes
Skills and Qualifications:
Must have 10+ years of experience
Must be skilled in MIG & TIG welding
Must be able to weld Stainless Steel and Aluminum
Must have skills in Arc Welding and Plasma Cutting
Must be able to read blueprints
Must have strong mechanical knowledge and abilities
Must follow all safety protocols
Pay and Benefits:
Wage: $30/hour
Hours: Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm
Company PAID Health and Dental insurance, 401k (w/ matching) opportunities, accruing PTO, paid holidays and weekly pay after 60 days
