Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionHandle substantive employment litigation matters from inception through resolutionDraft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, and substantive briefsManage key litigation workstreams with increasing independenceConduct and defend depositions and support hearing preparationAppear at hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences commensurate with experienceAdvise employers and employees on employment law risks, compliance, and strategySupport workplace investigations and internal employment assessments as neededCounsel clients on discipline, termination, wage practices, policy issues, employment agreements, separation matters, and claims evaluationCommunicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and agency representativesContribute to efficient case management and overall litigation strategy on significant mattersQualifications5+ years of litigation experience in state and/or federal courtStrong employment litigation experience requiredExperience with discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour, or related employment mattersDemonstrated experience drafting dispositive motions and managing discoveryStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsWorking knowledge of California employment statutes and civil procedureActive California Bar admission requiredWhy You Will Love Working HereYou will have the opportunity to do sophisticated employment litigation while also building a trusted counseling practice with real client impact.
