Studio Intern

Artist is currently looking for studio assistants/interns to assist studio art practice.Main duties will be making and priming canvas stretchers and frames. Other duties include art handling and shipping, preparing for exhibitions and studio maintenance. Previous carpentry skills are preferred but not required. This is a part time position with one or two days expected per week depending on demand and availability. It is a three month internship with a 3 week training/trail period, and the opportunity to extend beyond 3 months for the right person/s. The studio is located at a private residence in Hopewell Junction, NY. Applicant requires their own transportation.
