OperatorJob Type: Full Time Pay- $16 an hour Shifts: M-F 7:30am - 4pmAssist Supervisor in maximizing shift production of quality partsCheck and confirm the correct raw materials, color, and packaging materials are in use for assigned machinesFollow all quality guidelines and posted Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.) while handling product box type and size, parts per box, labels, stacking format, separation of unacceptable production.Follow all safety procedures and notify Supervisor of any unsafe working conditionRaise all quality and safety concerns to the Supervisor immediatelyObserve assigned machine(s) conditions and safely stop a machine should conditions warrant (stuck parts, poor welds, etc.) and immediately inform the SupervisorKeep work area clean and organized at all times, including vacuuming pellets from machinesAssist with proper job close out of all completed jobs. i.e. save and provide last shots to QA, remove unused boxes, deliver partial boxes to QA, remove runners and scrap from the press area, set up all needed packaging supplies for the next jobInform the replacement operator on incoming shift of job status, quality concerns and or proceduresUnderstands and accurately reads and follows posted S.O.P.'sKnow what PPE is required (i.e. hair nets, gloves, ear plugs, etc.)Can consistently and accurately learn and follow plant procedures via the employee manual and direct training by SupervisorsAbility to read, follow and understand all S.O.P. requirements for all jobs in the departmentDemonstrate general machine operation and understandingSafely and efficiently operate assigned molding or secondary machine. Remain at the machine unless relieved or instructed otherwiseUse of approved knives and clippers to trim excess material from parts per Supervisor's instructionsPerform plant procedures with minimal supervisionRemove finished parts from collection bins by lifting and dumping at table height for sorting, inspection and trimmingStanding and walking for up to 4 hours at a timeDexterity of hands and fingers with ability to handle and inspect plastic parts ranging in size from.25" to 18"Visual ability to handle and inspect partsCan lift and dump collection bins up to 50 lbs. repeatedly onto tablesCan use rolling carts and pallet jacks for transporting productPerforms the job as instructed per Supervisors instruction consistently without assistanceIs accurate, neat, and thorough with communication and responsibilitiesExcellent attendance and punctualityOutput meets or exceeds the needs of the jobInteracts with Supervisors, Quality, and other employees professionally at all timesMaintains a total safety and Quality CommitmentOffers suggestions to improve operations, safety, efficiency, and profitabilityHigh School Diploma or equivalentNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
