We are Oklahomans helping Oklahomans by providing driver license and motor vehicle services on behalf of the state.This position has an annual rate of $47,379.07The Service Oklahoma offers a generous benefits package, including a benefits allowance to off-set the costs of medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans. The Service Oklahoma will match up to 7% towards an employee’s Defined Contribution retirement plan. Our employees receive 11 paid holidays, 15 days of paid annual leave, which increases with every 5 years of service, and 15 days of paid sick leave. Additionally, employees will receive longevity payments based on their years of service with the State of Oklahoma.Job DescriptionPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIESThis job description describes the general nature and level of work performed by the employee assigned to this position. It should not be construed as an exhaustive list of all required duties, responsibilities and skills.Responds to questions and inquiries via telephone, mail or in-person from customers and/or Licensed Operators (LO’s)Processes all incoming mail related to Licensed Operator (LO) Bank StatementsProcesses all incoming mail related to Licensed Operator (LO) and/or Service Oklahoma (SOk) Nonsufficient Fund (NSF) Checks.Utilizes document imaging and management software program to create digital records of documents.Provides in-office support for team members working remotely.Balances and make corrections to monthly LO Bank StatementsCreates NSF Stop Flag Cases on Vehicle Ownership Records.Insures LO’s receive credit for NFS Checks submitted to SOkAssists in system testing.Level II/III – Prepare Monthly Tribal Plate ReportsLevel II/III – Monthly Apportionment TasksLevel II/III – Monthly Invoices for MV Data ContactsLevel II/III – Assists in projects as assigned.Level II/III – Tests new processes for Online resourcesLevel II/III – Oversees and provides quality control checks to the work of lower-level staff.Level III – Contact for banks and third-party credit card vendors.Level III – Coordinate new LO Bank Accounts (Banking Papers, Signature Cards, Setup in OneLink)Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesDemonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.Ability to work with sensitive materials and maintain confidentiality and appropriate discretion.Works effectively in team environment, participating and assisting their peers.Office methods and procedures including: data entry (typing and 10-key), telephone and use of electronic communications, business communication, operation of office machines and computers, filing and documentation procedures.Effective communication both internally with team members and externally with customers and stakeholders.Ability to stay organized and perform multiple duties simultaneously.LEVEL DESCRIPTORSSpecialistThe Level I is an entry-level position where employees are responsible for performing various routine duties related to MV functions.The Level II is an advanced level position where employees are responsible for performing various routine duties related to MV functions.The Level III is a subject-matter-expert position where employees are responsible for performing various routine duties related to MV functions.Lead SpecialistThe Level III is a subject-matter-expert position where employees are responsible for performing various routine duties related to MV functions.Education & ExperienceThe preferred minimum qualifications for this position are:Level IA Bachelor’s Degree in any fieldOR four (4) years of experience in a related field,OR equivalent combination of education and experienceLevel IIA Bachelor’s Degree in any field, plus one (1) year of experience in a related fieldOR five (5) years of experience in a closely related field,OR equivalent combination of education and experienceLevel IIIA Bachelor’s Degree in any field, plus two (2) years of experience in a related fieldOR six (6) years of experience in a closely related field,OR equivalent combination of education and experienceSpecial RequirementsThe schedule for this position may vary and require flexibility, including some early or late shifts, weekends, and occasional overtime, based on the needs of the agency. This position may require occasional travel. The employee must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel. State vehicles may be available, but reliable transportation may be required for local travel.
