Project Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Specialist 4 to support an Engineering Change Control product team within a dynamic engineering and product support environment.This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels in Agile delivery, program/project management, and business analysis, and can effectively lead cross-functional efforts to deliver complex initiatives. You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and external partners to translate strategy into execution, manage risks and schedules, and ensure successful delivery across enterprise systems such as Process Planning, MES, and ERP platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with Product Managers to translate roadmaps and epics into prioritized backlogs, sprint plans, and release plansServe as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, facilitating Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demosLead development and execution of complex project schedules, milestones, and dependency plansPerform business analysis and process mapping:Gather and document requirementsWrite user stories and acceptance criteriaValidate solutions with stakeholdersDrive cross-functional coordination across engineering, QA, architecture, security, operations, and external partnersIdentify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, including mitigation planning and executive-level reportingSupport vendor/supplier management, including deliverables, performance tracking, and coordinationOversee release management activities, including planning, readiness assessments, and stakeholder communicationMaintain program artifacts such as RAID logs, status reports, decision logs, and communication plansLead governance and quality activities, including design reviews and readiness checkpointsMentor and coach team members on Agile best practices and continuous improvementBasic QualificationsProven experience with Agile delivery and Scrum methodologiesStrong project management experience (scope, schedule, resources, risk, and change management)Demonstrated business analysis expertise, including requirements gathering, user story development, and process mappingExperience working with cross-functional and distributed teams, including external vendorsProficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or similar platformsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reportingAbility to translate business needs into clear, actionable delivery plansPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related fieldCertifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, PSM, or SAFeExperience working in Scaled Agile (SAFe) environments and participating in PI PlanningFamiliarity with release management and production deploymentsUnderstanding of software development lifecycles, CI/CD, and DevOps practicesExperience with ERP, MES, or Process Planning systemsBackground in supplier/vendor management and third-party integrationsExperience LevelTypically requires 8–12+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Core CompetenciesProject Leadership & Risk ManagementBusiness & Technical AcumenCommunication & Stakeholder ManagementAnalytical Thinking & Problem SolvingSystems Thinking & Process OptimizationAgile Mindset & Continuous ImprovementCustomer-Focused DeliveryAdditional RequirementsMust meet U.S. export control compliance requirements (U.S. Person status required)*Optional Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401KTundra Technical Solutions is among North America’s leading providers of Staffing and Consulting Services.
