L2 Network Data Engineer
Role: L2 Network Data EngineerLocation: - Irving, TX 75039 (Onsite)ContractShift: 8x5 Support / On-call RotationL2/3 Network Engineer (Data Network)We are looking for an experienced L3 Network Engineer to support and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies and be capable of troubleshooting complex network issues, leading infrastructure changes, and ensuring high network availability.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and troubleshoot enterprise LAN/WAN and data center networks.Configure and support Cisco routing and switching infrastructure.Deploy and maintain SD-WAN solutions.Administer Cisco ISE for AAA, 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS, and network access control.Support Aruba wireless infrastructure, including AP deployment and Aruba Central.Perform root cause analysis, incident resolution, and network performance optimization.Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and maintenance activities.Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.Work with cross-functional teams and vendors to resolve complex network issues.Required SkillsStrong experience with Cisco routing and switching (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, HSRP, ACLs).Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies.Experience managing Cisco ISE and Aruba wireless environments.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and documentation skills. Good to HaveExperience with Palo Alto Firewalls.Knowledge of SolarWinds for network monitoring and alerting.Exposure to network automation (Python/Ansible) or cloud networking is a plus.
