We are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship, maintaining safe job sites, and building long-term relationships with clients and employees.Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concrete Superintendent to oversee civil and site concrete construction projects. This position is responsible for managing daily field operations, supervising crews and subcontractors, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.We are looking for a strong field leader with extensive concrete construction experience, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and production performance.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Oversight and CoordinationSupervise and coordinate all field crews and subcontractorsInterpret construction plans, specifications, and civil drawingsDevelop and maintain daily and weekly work schedulesEnsure compliance with project requirements, codes, and specificationsCoordinate inspections with owners, engineers, and subcontractorsEnsure foremen complete accurate daily reportsField LeadershipProvide clear direction and leadership to field crewsResolve jobsite issues and maintain productivity standardsMentor and evaluate foremen and field personnelAssist in manpower planning and task sequencingSafety ManagementEnforce OSHA regulations and company safety policiesConduct daily jobsite safety meetings and hazard assessmentsEnsure compliance with PPE requirementsDocument incidents, near misses, and corrective actionsQuality ControlVerify forms, rebar, embeds, elevations, ADA compliance, and layout prior to placementEnsure proper concrete mix design, slump, testing, and finishing proceduresConduct punch list inspections and ensure corrective actions are completedMaintain high standards of workmanship and minimize reworkScheduling and DocumentationTrack project progress and update schedules as neededReview daily logs including manpower, equipment, and materialsMonitor delivery tickets, pour logs, and field reportsCommunicate delays or issues promptly to managementEquipment and Materials ManagementCoordinate equipment usage and maintenanceEnsure timely delivery and proper storage of materialsPrevent waste, loss, and misuse of company assetsQualificationsProven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or similar supervisory role in civil/site concrete constructionStrong knowledge of concrete construction methods and field operationsAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsKnowledge of OSHA safety regulations preferredStructural ExperienceValid driver’s license and reliable transportationPhysical RequirementsAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditionsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and crouch for extended periodsAbility to lift 50–90 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds with assistanceAbility to navigate active construction sites and uneven terrainAbility to work extended hours, weekends, and travel to job sites as requiredWork EnvironmentOutdoor construction environments with exposure to dust, noise, grease, and heavy equipmentRegular interaction with moving machinery and active construction operationsRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areasBenefitsHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) retirement planPaid Time Off (PTO)Weekly payDirect depositCompetitive compensation packageCompany CultureConcrete Construction Services Inc (CCS) is committed to building strong infrastructure and strong careers.
