SR Electronics Test Engineer

Overview A leading technology organization is seeking an Electronics Hardware Test Engineer to support the design, testing, and validation of digital and analog electronic hardware. This role contributes directly to Test & Validation activities, working across requirements, specifications, architecture, and testing to ensure high quality, reliable electronic products. The ideal candidate is hands on, technically curious, and comfortable working independently on test missions while collaborating with cross functional teams to resolve complex hardware and production issues.ResponsibilitiesIndependently execute technical assignments within the electronic hardware domain and propose effective technical solutionsSupport hardware Test & Validation activities across digital, analog, and power electronics systemsDesign and conduct complex electronic and EMC testsWrite and maintain test procedures, test plans, and detailed test reportsParticipate in defining test strategies and qualification plansAnalyze product rejections from production or customer returns and drive root cause resolutionUpdate qualification and test databases to support product evolution and continuous improvementVerify products, sub assemblies, and components against specifications and standardsApply structured methods and tools to improve test efficiency and product qualityMaintain a strong customer and quality focus throughout the test lifecycleRequired QualificationsBachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field6 months to 3 years of experience in electronics hardware testing, validation, or a related roleSolid understanding of:Analog electronics (including opto electronics)Digital electronics and signal processingPower electronics, power conversion, and energy storageExperience with electronic verification, testing, and quality metricsFamiliarity with industry standards and compliance requirementsStrong problem solving and issue resolution skillsAbility to understand application needs and system level architectureTechnical SkillsPythonC / C++LabVIEWMicrosoft ExcelPreferred QualificationsExperience performing EMC or compliance testingExposure to production support, failure analysis, or customer return investigationsExperience working in structured test environments with formal documentation and reporting
