Spare Parts Coordinator
Oversees shipping and receiving operations to guarantee timely delivery of parts.
Utilizes an order management system for tracking orders and inventory levels.
Provides excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to parts availability.
Performs data entry tasks accurately to maintain up-to-date inventory records.
Implements effective warehouse management practices to enhance efficiency in storage and retrieval of parts.
Collaborates with the warehouse logistics team on the supply chain processes.
Updates machinery maintenance records
Coordinates with the maintenance planer all machinery / equipment repairs
Establishes inventory controls to prevent stock out
Keeps needed spare parts documentation available and updated
Develops and maintains relationships with current potential vendors to build long term connections
Monitors back-order report daily
Coordinates the spare parts needed by the maintenance team with the maintenance planer in order to have all the necessary replacement parts for Preventive & Corrective plan.
Processes surplus part requests
Communicates with various Department personnel, customer departments and others to provide and receive information, resolve questions and issues, and coordinate activities with Maintenance Coordinator, Supervisor & Maintenance manager
Maintains inventory control system, including updating computer and assist with audits conducted by Company auditors
May be requested to assist in the training or cross train other individuals in the office
Empties trash, to maintain cleanliness of parts room
Delivers the replacement parts to the Maintenance Supervisor
Counts inventory at customer site as needed
Assists as needed in shipping/receiving, including, picking and packing of parts
Responsible for returning all unused parts
Maintains a safe, neat and organized room and work area
Properly packages parts for shipment to technicians
Packages and ship parts to original equipment suppliers for warranty credit, outside facilities
Communicates between shifts the status of active parts requisitions and orders, other assigned projects
Interfaces with other departments to continuously provide great service and/or resolve issues in a timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
Mechanic/Electrical knowledge is preferred
High School Degree or GED is required
Bilingual English- Spanish required
Minimum 2 years experience in data entry
Ability to work flexible schedules including shift work, weekends, holidays if needed
A minimum of 2 years administrative experience is required
General understanding of production practices, preferably in a cGMP environment
Proficient with MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Basic Knowledge of CMM Programs
Dynamic, self-starter, proactive
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to bend and stool repetitively and reach top shelves with the help of a stool or ladder. General lifting of parts (up to 40-50 lbs.) may be required as a daily job task.
TYPICAL WORK CONDITIONS:
All areas include offices, Production, Packaging, Parking Lot and green areas. Areas may have dirty water, dust, excessive noise, wet areas and high traffic
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
