Maintenance DirectorSkilled Nursing FacilitySalary: Up to $90,000 per year (based on experience)We are seeking an experienced and reliable Maintenance Director to oversee all maintenance operations within our Skilled Nursing Facility. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring a safe, functional, and compliant environment for residents, staff, and visitors.Position SummaryThe Maintenance Director is responsible for managing all aspects of facility maintenance, life safety systems, and physical plant operations in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.Maintenance Director Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily maintenance operations and preventative maintenance programsSupervise, train, and schedule maintenance staffEnsure compliance with CMS, DOH, and Life Safety Code regulationsMaintain and monitor building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, generators, fire alarm, emergency power, etc.)Coordinate inspections, repairs, and emergency response proceduresPrepare for and participate in state and federal surveysMaintain documentation for compliance and safety auditsManage vendor relationships and service contractsOversee department budget and inventory controlEnsure facility grounds are safe and well maintainedMaintenance Director QualificationsMinimum of 3–5 years of maintenance leadership experience, preferably in a SNF or healthcare environmentStrong working knowledge of life safety codes and healthcare regulationsExperience with emergency preparedness and safety programsAbility to lead teams and manage multiple prioritiesHVAC, electrical, or technical certifications preferredHigh school diploma required; trade school or technical background a plusWhat We OfferComprehensive benefits packageSupportive leadership teamOpportunities for growth and advancementStable, mission-driven work environmentSalary: Up to $90,000 per year(based on experience)An Equal Opportunity EmployerJ-18808-Ljbffr
