Special Education Teacher - Autism

ZSN Solutions is hiring an experienced Special Education Teacher with Autism to work on our school campus in Patterson, CA, for the current School year 2024-25. Job Description: SET is needed at Patterson, CA. Age : K-2 Start: ASAP End date: June 7, 2024 Total hours: 35-40 hrs per week Responsibilities - Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. - Provide instruction tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities. - Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support student progress. - Utilize specialized teaching techniques and resources to enhance student learning outcomes. - Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed. - Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for all students. Qualifications - Experience in special education - Working with people with developmental disabilities - IEP knowledge - Classroom management skills - Lesson planning expertise - Experience in teaching students with diverse needs - Familiarity with early childhood education principles - Ability to adapt teaching methods for individual student needs - Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques - Understanding of literacy education practices Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
