SUMMER TGA Golf and Tennis-Coaches in Howard County (Part Time)

TGA introduces the life-long sports of golf and tennis at a young age through programs that provide a fun and enriching experience for children while being a convenient and affordable option for parents. Our dedicated coaching staff help students develop their skills and a passion for golf or tennis while using the sports as a vehicle for delivering curriculums that are loaded with educational concepts including STEM and life skills such as respect, honesty, perseverance and sportsmanship.Summer Camps for both golf and tennis will be located at various locations within Howard County, Maryland. Camps will run from June- through August. Candidates who are able to work multiple camps are a plus.RequirementsDay to Day Roles and Responsibilities:Must be energetic, fun, dynamic, patient and attentiveMust have a passion for working with childrenArrive early and be prepared in advance to teach the classInspire a love of movement in an organized, structured, and fun mannerProvide individual and group instruction to childrenMaintain up to date information on classesMust be able to carry/lift up to 50lb equipment bagCommunicate with Program DirectorAvailable to work mainly evenings (3:00-8:00pm) and weekends (times can vary)Prior experience working in golf or tennis and with children preferredMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation and willing to travel to get to class locations around Howard County, MDMust pass a background checkCPR/First Aid Certified preferred (will provide training if you need it by a certified instructor)BenefitsTGA of Howard County will provide training on the curriculum and programmingPay Scale ($18-$20.00) per hour starting depending on qualificationsWill provide CPR/First Aid certification if neededBonus opportunities as well for working multiple camps
