Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Med-Surg Travel RN | High-Acuity Surgical Unit Travel experience required Must have recent acute care Med-Surg experience (last 3 assignments, medium/large hospitals) No LTC backgrounds Patient Ratio: Nights 1:6 (up to 1:8) Must be comfortable managing up to 8 patients Floating required to Med-Surg and Ortho sister unit. Skills & Experience IV insertion PICC/central line management Vascular access care Unit Highlights: 32-bed unit with diverse post-surgical population Strong teamwork culture, bedside shift report, and care team rounding Exposure to cases like hysterectomy, prostatectomy, bariatric surgery, amputations, and wound care.
