Senior Workforce Management Integration Developer
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Senior Workforce Management Integration Developer. This position can be on-site once a week, or once a month for 4-consecutive days.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Workforce Management (WFM) Application Developer to join our enterprise technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and support of integrations and application enhancements for our organization's Time & Attendance and HR systems. Your primary focus will be leveraging UKG Pro and Dell Boomi to bridge technical gaps between HR, Payroll, and Operations. You will manage the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC)-from initial analysis and architecture to long-term maintenance-ensuring our workforce solutions remain scalable, efficient, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Administration: Lead the configuration and daily administration of WFM and Time & Attendance applications to meet evolving business needs
Architecture & Design: Contribute to data architecture design, evaluate system performance, and provide "buy vs. build" recommendations for new features
Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert for technical architecture and design strategy, ensuring all solutions are innovative and efficient
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders and business analysts to translate complex operational requirements into robust technical data flows
Release Management: Oversee upcoming UKG Pro WFM releases by assessing new functionality, managing testing protocols, and ensuring system stabilization
Advanced Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 3 support for the WFM ecosystem by diagnosing, resolving, and documenting complex application errors
Team Mentorship: Lead design sessions and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of technical growth and continuous learning* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Software Experience: 3-5 years of experience developing within UKG Pro Workforce Management, plus 1-3 years of experience with UKG WFC WIM
Certifications: Professional certification in Boomi and UKG Pro is required
Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Boomi AtomSphere for building and managing complex integrations
Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java and a deep understanding of data formats including XML, JSON, CSV, and RESTful APIs
Lifecycle Management: Proven track record in full SDLC management within a complex, large-scale enterprise environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting HR/Payroll processes within a high-volume, multi-location organization
Familiarity with diverse HRIS platforms and large-scale cross-system integrations
Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical designs to executive leadership
