Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionManage a civil litigation caseload with a high level of independenceHandle matters involving insurance defense, construction litigation, premises liability, commercial disputes, employment matters, and related civil litigation issuesDevelop case strategy and move files forward efficiently from intake through resolutionDraft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other litigation documentsTake and defend depositions and attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferencesCommunicate directly with clients, carriers, adjusters, experts, and opposing counselEvaluate risk, exposure, and case value, and provide practical recommendationsSupport trial preparation and, if experienced, take an active role in trial workCollaborate with attorneys across a wide range of practice areas on sophisticated civil mattersQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law schoolActive Colorado bar license5+ years of civil litigation experienceAbility to independently manage and move filesStrong writing, advocacy, and case strategy skillsExperience with depositions, hearings, mediations, and motion practiceInsurance defense experience preferredAdditional licensure in Wyoming or Nebraska is a plusTrial experience is a plusJPC-767#LI-SK3Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insurance
