Your primary duties will include performing inventory checks, sourcing parts, and assisting with service team with parts selections. This position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to work collaboratively with others, and a focus on accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in parts inventory, an understanding of trailer systems, and strong communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform regular inventory checks, to ensure inventory accuracyMaintain a clean and organized parts roomSource quotes, order parts, and support the service department in acquiring the necessary componentsEnter parts received and orders filled into our electronic systemCreate and update parts inventory transfers as requested by other branchesCreate electronic purchase orders and accurately process invoices for payoutUnload incoming inventory, pick-up and deliver parts and/or tools as requiredCollaborate with the service team to forecast parts needs and provide updates on inventory availabilityAssist mechanics with parts selectionsEnsure safety standardsKeep updated on industry standardsEnsure a safe work environmentQualifications & SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong customer service and communication skillsMust be highly organizedHigh level of collaboration and teamworkHigh School Diploma or GEDExperience in the trailer/transportation industry preferredBenefitsWe believe in rewarding our employees for their exceptional skills and dedication.
