Director of Sales

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Director of Sales to lead the sales efforts at our 3 properties in the Salem and Albany area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue goals, enhance market share, and drive business growth. The Director of Sales will work closely with the management team to ensure the hotel's sales targets are met and exceeded, fostering a culture of high performance and exceptional service. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market share and maximize revenue growth Develop and maintain corporate, group, and local business accounts Respond to RFPs and manage group leads Utilize brand platforms, and third-party channels to secure business Proactively generate new accounts through outside sales calls and networking Track sales goals, occupancy targets, and revenue performance Maintain strong relationships with local businesses and organizations Collaborate with revenue teams to create targeted campaigns that support sales objectives and enhance brand visibility. Maintain exceptional customer service standards by understanding client needs, providing tailored solutions, and managing key accounts for long-term success. Qualifications Previous hotel sales experience required Strong understanding of hotel revenue strategy Proficiency in Opera PMS required Experience with RFP systems, and brand sales platforms required Strong communication and negotiation skills Professional appearance and leadership presence Self-motivated and goal-oriented Strong analysis skills to interpret market trends, customer data, and competitive insights for strategic decision-making.
