Description Valley Foot & Ankle Specialty Providers (VFASP) is growing, and we’re looking for a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient physical therapy team in Fresno, California.This is an opportunity to work in a modern, patient-centered clinic focused on helping people move better, recover faster, and regain confidence in their daily lives. Our team works closely with post-surgical, orthopedic, sports injury, chronic pain, and mobility patients in a collaborative environment that prioritizes quality care over rushed visits.If you’re looking for a clinic where patients come first, teamwork matters, and your work genuinely impacts people’s lives, we’d love to meet you.What You’ll Do Deliver hands-on patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Assist patients through individualized rehabilitation and recovery programs Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, balance work, and functional movement activities Educate patients on home exercise programs and recovery strategies Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising therapists Accurately document treatments and patient outcomes using EMR systems Help create a positive, encouraging, and supportive patient experience Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure high-quality patient carePatient Population As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll work with a variety of patients, including: Post-surgical rehabilitation Orthopedic injuries Chronic pain conditions Balance and mobility deficits Sports-related injuries General outpatient physical therapy patientsPTA Qualifications Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License Associate degree from an accredited PTA program Strong communication and interpersonal skills Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude Passion for patient care and helping people improve their quality of life Outpatient experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to applyCompensation & Benefits $28–$34/hour depending on experience Full-time position Supportive and collaborative clinic environment Opportunities for professional growth Modern and growing physical therapy department Consistent patient flow and strong referral networkWhy Join VFASP?
