We want our Winebow family to feel at home and to be empowered to bring their best selves forward.We seek talent from all backgrounds to join our organization and are dedicated to achieving a diverse workforce in all aspects of employment including but not limited to recruiting, hiring, promotion, training, benefits, wage and salary equity.Essential FunctionsProcesses multi-state semi-monthly and bi-weekly payrolls for hourly, salaried and commissioned employees, distributes direct deposit notices and checks, generates and files necessary reporting.Transmits semi-monthly and bi-weekly 401K deferrals.Processes employee salary changes, status changes (new hires and terminations), tax changes, deductions, direct deposits, and tracking of PTO.Responsible for working with third party payroll service provider to ensure all government reporting requirements for payroll taxes, withholdings and employer contributions are met.Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and wages.Maintains complete and orderly Payroll files.Ensures confidentiality of sensitive employee and company data.Perform annual reconciliation and distribution of W2’s.Keeps abreast of the payroll processing system and changes in wage and tax laws, and corresponds with federal, state and local tax agencies on behalf of our clients in problem situationsMaintains personnel files, to include annual audit of files.Assists with special projects, as necessary.Other Functions Follows all safety policies and procedures; communicate hazards and/or suggest improvements to Manager. Other duties as assigned.Working ConditionsNormal office environment, overtime may be required.Equipment/Machinery UsedOffice equipment, including telephone, fax machine, copier, computer, calculator, printer, shredderPhysical RequirementsSitting, lifting up to 10 lbs., repetitive motion with hands for typing, bending, manual dexterity, visual acuity, driving.Minimum RequirementsAssociate's degree in Accounting or Business-related field.3 years of experience processing multi-state payrolls for 200+ employeesCPP or FPC certifications preferredComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and OutlookExperience working with various payroll software programs including Ultipro/UKG a plus.Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and provide documentation when necessaryExcellent organizational and interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented and ability to multi-task
