Application Developer I

Application Developer Job Summary Midwest Fastener Corp is seeking an Application Developer able to program “.NET”(VB or C#). The ideal candidate would also have experience in SQL database development and maintenance and ASP.net or PHP. Responsibilities and Duties: Must have the ability to code using VB.NET, SQL, HTML5, and JavaScript. Knowledge of other web frameworks, patterns, and programming languages is beneficial. Software design and development, testing, and core implementation. Defining what software is needed with a focus on internal users and occasional external users. Must be able to follow established processes, procedures, and best practices utilizing prescribed tools and/or methodologies with limited oversight/guidance. Qualifications: Associates degree in related field, work experience, or portfolio/code sample Sound technical knowledge including Visual Basic, SQL, Client/Server, User Interface Design Software, Software debugging, Software development fundamentals, Software documentation, Software testing, and Software requirements Ability to use existing code, re-factor code, and test.
