Job Description: Field Service Technician SupervisorAustin Location:2201 Denton Dr. Austin, TX, 78758Compensation: $50,000-$65,000 DOEPosition Summary: RAM Windows is seeking an experienced and hands-on Field Service Technician Supervisor to lead a team of technicians responsible for servicing and repairing windows and doors at customer job sites in the Austin, TX areas. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient field operations and oversee warehouse functions related to servicing, repairs, inventory, and more.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Supervise and lead a team of Field Service Technicians in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of windows and doorsCoordinate and schedule service calls, ensuring timely and efficient responses to customer needsTroubleshoot and report findings on problem installations to managers and sales representativesInspect and ensure proper operation of window sashes, adjusting or installing new balance rods as neededMaintain excellent verbal and written communication with customers, providing high-quality customer serviceManage the team's calendar, ensuring proper scheduling of appointments and daily demandsPerform quality checks of completed Service Tickets and maintain a high level of service qualitySupervise warehouse operational functions, including loading and unloading materials, inventory management, and ensuring a secure and effective operationAssist with deliveries in the field and perform service-related tasksConduct warehouse, office, and yard clean-up duties, adhering to safety proceduresVerify all vendor receiving and loading documents and assign stocking locations to received materialsDemonstrate the ability to perform window mulling, twinning, shop glazing, and frame assembliesExperience with or familiarity with servicing various window and door product brands, including RAM Windows, Sierra Pacific, PlyGem, LaCantina, and othersEducation, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:High School Diploma or GED required; minimum 2-4 years of related experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar roleBuilding, construction, contractor knowledge preferred; able to work in warehouse and on jobsitesBilingual in Spanish is a plusValid Texas Driver's License with a good driving record (MVR)Excellent organizational, social, and customer-focused skillsComputer skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize servicing needsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs and 100 lbs with some assistanceFlexibility to work overtime and weekends as neededAttention-to-detail and commitment to high-quality standardsJob-Related Specifications:Demonstrated judgment and decision-making abilityQuality-oriented – demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, seek ways to improve efficiencyAttendance and punctuality – report to work according to schedule, dependable and reliablePositive attitude – seeks to help and increase responsibilitiesTeam player – works amicably with all employeesPhysical Requirements and Environmental Conditions:Work primarily in the field and warehouse environment, exposed to dust, heat, humidity, and cold weather conditionsPhysical stamina and dexterity, including the ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, or squat for extended periodsAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs and 100 lbs with some assistanceUse fingers and hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, hand-eye coordinationSpecific vision abilities include close-up and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception[Please note this job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of qualifications, skills, efforts, duties, responsibilities or working conditions associated with the position Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice]BENEFITS OFFEREDWeekly Pay(every Friday)Overtime available as neededPaid-Time Off, (2) Floating PTO days, and (8) paid HolidaysMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceCompany-Paid Life, AD&DInsurance401K Retirement Saving Plan(up to 5% Company Match)Join RAM Windows and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-notch service in the windows and doors industry.
