Under the direction of the Production Supervisor/Team Leader, the Labeling/Packaging Associate 1 will work hands on in controlled areas with a variety of manufacturing production equipment and technologies. Daily responsibilities vary and include operating label machine, hand labeling and packaging manufactured goods.Core ResponsibilitiesEnsures that all work is carried out in compliance with company Safety Policies, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Wears proper personal protective equipment and follows procedures when gowning, de-gowning and working in controlled areas.Reports any accidents, incidents and injuries or illnesses immediately and notifies manager of any hazards, unsafe acts or conditions in the workplace.Accurate completion of production documentation and all appropriate logbooks. Maintains cleaning logs per SOPKnowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)Excellent organization and time-management skills required. Must be able to manage heavy workload and aggressive timelines in a timely manner, prioritize and work underCleaning, sanitization, and disinfection of equipment required forCheck for accuracy of information on all itemsVisually inspect finished product Properly label finished productPackage labeled product and prepare it for shippingPromote and maintain a clean working environmentPerform other related duties as assigned by managementQualifications & Requirements1 year of or more of manufacturing experienceMust be able to read and speak EnglishAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 poundsKnowledge of cGMPs and GDPs - Able to verify defects in products (visual) and able to determine proper labels based off color codes.
